Mary Spender is an independent musician, songwriter, guitarist, filmmaker, and educator whose work has reached more than 100 million views on YouTube and attracted an audience of over 790,000 subscribers.
Writing, recording, releasing, and documenting her career independently, Mary has built a global community around music, creativity, and the realities of life as a working artist.
Her music draws from Blues, Rock, Folk, and Americana, combining intricate fingerstyle guitar with a distinctive, soulful vocal style. In 2021, she gained widespread attention after writing and recording her own version of a song inspired by a brief teaser of John Mayer's Last Train Home, earning recognition from Mayer himself.
In 2022, Mary released the fan-funded double album Songbook Volumes 1 & 2, which led to sold-out headline shows in London and Bristol. She followed it with her debut studio album, Super. Sexy.
